Scott holds an M.B.A. – Finance & Operations Management from Columbia University Graduate School of Business, Non degree Business Studies at The Wharton School, and a B.A. – Government from Colby College.
Scott co-authored, with the late George Stevens, Knowledge Management – The Bedrock of Corporate Strategy, (Performance Improvement, September, 2001), and was an invited speaker at the International Society for Performance Improvement and the Project Management Institute.
He also served as a Principal of the IBM Consulting Group, leading strategic business transformation initiatives in financial services and telecommunications clients. While at Deloitte & Touche and Price Waterhouse Consulting, he led a number of turnaround, reorganization, and operational improvement initiatives.
Representative clients have included PNC Financial, PNC Investments, John Crane, Wachovia Securities, Chase, Bank of Montreal, Chemical Bank, Bank of New England, Southeast Bank, New York Life, LTV, Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Florida and New Jersey, Viacom, and ATT Network Services.
